Youth Pastoral

Welcome to the Youth Ministry Pages, maintained by the Salesian Sisters Youth Pastoral Team. We were set up as a team two years ago in response to requests from those working in Salesian Pastoral Ministry in the UK Province. Currently we are made up of Salesian Sisters and lay people from the Salesian Family. We are Sr. Bernadette Cassidy, Rachael Chadwick, Liz Moran, Anne Frances McNamee and Sr. Sue McDonald.  
 
The aim of our team is to support and promote the development of Salesian Youth Pastoral work within the province and our objectives are to:

• Respond to the needs and requests of those working in Youth Pastoral Ministry
• Provide opportunities for support and training for those working within the area of Youth Pastoral in the Province
• To develop links with the Salesian Spirituality Team

These objectives came from two very enriching days for those working with young people within the Salesian Family. Follow the News and Events Link to read more about them and see some of the discussion groups.

In the very near future we hope to offer more online resources to support you as you journey with the young. In the meantime, please make use of the resources we have already made available.
